Occasionally I mention a book that is for parents, caregivers, or in general adults. These are resources, they are books I've found helpful, or just ones that I have enjoyed, found meaning in and want to share with you. They linked to the blog in which you can find more info about each.
Thank you for checking out my blog, I hope you have found something of help in it.
Inoculating Your Children Against Sexual Abuse This is possibly the most important book I will share with you. Body Safety is not always easy for us talk about. Please if you have not check out the blog about Body Safety, and get this book!
If you are into horses, country settings, or want some adventure then please check out the books I've suggested at the bottom of my Cowgirl post. These are some books that have been a pleasure to read and get caught up in a different time or place.
Germ Proof Your Kids: The Complete Guide to Protecting (without Overprotecting) Your Family from Infections and other germ books can be found in this post here.
Today we hear a lot about Bullying but not a lot being done to solve the problem. I would highly recommend to all parents, caregivers, teachers, and anyone working around children to check out Breaking the Bullying Circle. This book is a tool to be used and read, and talked about not just once but to keep turning back to. It offers points of views from victims, bullies, and by standers. It gives you tools to give your children, and many questions to ask. I hope you get it, use it, and share it with others.
